Break Down: My Fall Style
Hey Y’all! Whoa it has been awhile since my last blog post…but you can rest assure that I am back in action and ready for some amazing fall fashion. I have been impatiently waiting for the temperature to drop here in Texas so that I can give my closet a little makeover, and HALLELUJAH IT’S IN THE 70′S!! Now that it is time to put the sandals and tank tops away I am ready for you to see some of my must have fall items. The first item on my must have list are sweaters with personality, and I don’t mean neon or color block. I want to see faux collars, funny sayings, and animals on my sweaters this year! Next on my list are cranberry color bags, this color is making my mouth water because it is so yummy and eye catching. Obviously I included the cranberry Loeffler Randall Rider Bag, since it my pick for bag of the year! Now on to my favorite trend for the season, statement booties..for a girl like me who lives in sweaters and skinny jeans these boots are perfection. I suggest investing in more than one pair of fun booties, this way your wardrobe will always have a extra pep in your step! And lastly, the final way I plan to polish off my fall look is with romantic and passionate makeup. Matte skin, olive shimmered eyes, and wine color lips OH MY! Now that you have seen the break down of my fall fashion, what is on your list this season?!

Anyone who knows me will tell you that my uniform is definitely the summer blouse and high waisted shorts. It is the first thing I turn to when I have no clue what to wear! This summer we have so many options for tops and shorts it is almost giving this little stylist a panic attack. I am really loving the water color printed shorts above with the pink sleeveless button down, and since I am so short the wedges are a must! The best part about this post…EVERYTHING IS UNDER $100 and most is under $50, so get to shopping ladies. AND did I mention that there are two designer deals above?! The sunnies are Rodarte for Opening Ceremony and the gold sandals are Rebecca Minkoff on sale for $90!
I have been searching this week for affordable (and cute) dresses for Spring. I feel like the day to night concept is so broad these days and I am overloaded with options. Luckily I have found 10 dresses that are perfect for all of your Spring events, and they’re all under $100! I am mostly loving all of the shades of green in this collection of dresses I’ve chosen!
Ohhhh the Lust List, the things I wish I could just run out and buy all at once! I am mostly drooling over the Louboutin neon wedges, I have come up with about 30 reasons why I NEED them this Spring. The Kate Spade pink sunglasses aren’t very expensive but I have a problem…its called an addiction to sunnies so I am holding back on them…for NOW! What are the items you are lusting over this spring? Sometimes it blows my mind how expensive some of my favorite handbags cost, especially since I change bags all of the time! I chose one of my go to bags, the marc jacobs mini quilted bag and then broke down how many other bags I could have for the $700 price tag. After looking at these 8 pieces of arm candy that total $691 I nearly fainted..I am really loving the Cambridge Satchel from ASOS!

Some of my favorite hues are those that are rich with history and full of vibrant details. Combining colors such as oranges and yellows with neutrals like grey and beige is the perfect way to stand out and look fashion forward. I understand that not everyone wants to wear a bright yellow jacket or red pants but even adding the slightest touch of these hues will make any outfit transform. The Kendra Scott jewelry I have selected is screaming with rich tones that will complete any look, I especially love the green Sarah cuff! Don’t be afraid to go outside of your comfort zone when buying these colors, they look good on almost anyone when worn correctly. So go out and add a little spice to your life!

My Current Want List is full of rich hues and bold statements..needless to say I have an outgoing fashion personality. The bold printed JCrew Pants and the amazing Burberry Prorsum dress are definitely a must for Spring. You can find wallet friendly versions of these at ASOS.COM, ZARA.COM, and HM.US
I am really into camera bag purses right now, they seem to be popping up everywhere! I love that they have a slouchy yet classic look and have a million compartments for all of your bag secrets! The Alexander Wang royal blue one above is something I am desperately coveting, however if you think you would like a more traditional style check out local vintage shops! By the looks of this want list I am going to need to put in extra hours at work ha!
Tell me what your current want list consists of, I would love to hear what you are all drooling over!

Sometimes it amazes me how expensive certain things are, like this zebra print Alexander McQueen dress ($1,120)! Can you believe that for the price of one dress you can get 6 dresses for $1,115, you still have $5 dollars left over for a coffee. Did I mention that I was able to put a DVF and a a Just Cavalli dress into my 6…talk about some great pieces!
So next time you’re in need of a fancy little number for an event make sure you really break down what you are buying, is it worth the money? Also make sure to check out websites such as Net-A-Porter, ASOS, and ShopBop before you hit the mall.
