Alright if you have learned anything from reading my blog it is that i am very casual and that comfort is my number one priority. So it should be no surprise that I have never had a Blow Out before…honestly I never even thought about it! I couldn’t tell you the difference between volumizing spray, hair spray, teasing brush, teasing comb…it all seems very overwhelming to me. However, when I was asked to come into Blo the Blow dry bar in Austin to get a blow out I got very excited! Finally I would have big, sexy Victoria Secret angel hair! When I arrived at Blo I was immediately seated and served champagne (which I asked for), then my stylist JC gave me the Blo Menu and I chose the biggest style they offered “Sex, Hugs, and Rock n Roll”. I figured hey if I’m getting my hair done I want it to be as big as possible, tease it up Dolly Parton style! Anyways back to Blo, the shampoo I got was amazing and very relaxing (the products smell like heaven). After the shampoo we got straight to blowin’ and goin’, JC blow dried my hair better then anyone I have ever got my hair done with. I guess you could say he is a hair genius…I even offered him to move in with me, my dog, and musician boyfriend! Once my hair was dry, JC curled and styled my hair making the end result better then I anticipated. That night I went to the Texas Style Council Conference Posh Party and I have never had more hair attention in my life, I liked my hair so much I kept rocking it for 3 days!

So next time you are complaining that your hair never gets the lift you want or the style you want just go to your local Blo and prepare to be amazed. If you are anything like me the thought of sitting in a chair for 3 hours coloring and cutting your hair seems dreadful. Going to Blo takes 45 minutes and is totally worth the $35 dollars (thats cheaper then a mani/pedi)! Check out some of my photos from my Blo experience:
