So You’re 25 & Going To The Club?

Being a quarter life club girl is not as easy as it sounds, trust me. Not only do you have to deal with the Vegas Bomb hangover but you have to figure out what the wear!

Now I have 3 go-to looks when I go out:
#1 is show a little midriff-When it comes to a crop top you have to be really careful not to show too much skin (or chub). My friend Maria has a body that will make you sick with jealousy and she always wears a crop top. It’s going to be a cropped summer! #2 Little fun dress will take you far- Not only am I a major fan of this look, my sister Sarah and I probably own more dresses then Forever 21. I am a loving any dress that is loose and has a detailed back or a fun print. FInally, #3- Make it a shorts story- I love shorts…it is a known fact to all of my friends that shorts make me very happy. My friends also love shorts, my girl Mariana rocks shorts all the time when we go out and they always look killer! I really love lace and leather shorts for the summer, you can dress them up or dress them down. 
Ok my little club rats, now you are probably asking where does one buy these outfits. Well, all of the above looks are from Nasty Gal, but I also love going to Zara, Urban Outfitters, and Asos.
Go ahead and get yourself an outfit and get to the club and order a Vegas Bomb…better yet order 2!

Tales from a Weekend Warrior

Welcome back to an all inclusive look into the life of a 20 something year old messy haired weirdo. Since I am in the process of overhauling this blog from a fashion site to a place for me to bitch and moan, I figured I would start with discussing my weekend warrior status. When I was a few years younger, I would go out from 10-2 and then go home drunk and pass out…now that I am older I think I am invincible (ya right). Not only do I go out on weekends now, but suddenly I find myself going out on week nights to drink. Now I am sure you are thinking “wow this girl is an alcoholic” but actually I am bored to death! Last night for example I did not even drink but stayed out until 3 am, what does that say about me? Honestly, I have no clue so if anyone has any opinions or suggestions…keep them to yourself!

Don’t get me wrong, I love taking a shot and dancing with my friends just as much as the next girl but sometimes it is just exhausting. We spend 1-2 hours getting ready, then 1-2 hours trying to get drunk, then the bar is almost closed and you want to after party, and before you know it the clock says 5 am! Something to consider when going out all night, bring makeup and a kit of things that can help you to avoid looking like the 21 year old girl throwing up in her purse. My kit has the following items:

-Mouthwash/mints

-Hand Sanitizer/lotion/deodorant

-Concealer/Blush/Eyeliner

-Mini Brush/Bobbi Pins/Hair Ties

These items are always in my car, along with a pair of sandals and a swimsuit, because you just never know! So if you plan to party like you never have before I strongly suggest have a plan and get a kit together. If you need one more reason to do this…remember people always post photos!

I have been having a serious blue moment recently and I just can’t stop! Now that March is literally just around the corner I am finding myself shopping in a sea of color…perhaps I am itching for a vacation? I have recently learned that blue is not only my favorite color of the season but it has been a serious man getter (not sure if that is a word but it is now). Now normally I dress for myself, or to make other girls give me dirty looks, but I am not going to lie…it feels damn good to get a second glance. Blue is one of those colors that I think looks good on everyone and has a major peacock effect, “Come and get me boys!”

Go out and get a crush on blue..it’ll be worth it trust me.

Believe it or not, sometimes I get sick of myself and need to re-group in order to deliver on this site. I am currently going through what some may call…a makeover. Not only will this blog get a major dose of fashion honesty, but it will also start to see things such as ramblings from my actual life. The life of a single girl trying to build a business, not throw up post drinking, not get sore from dancing, and attempting to meet any guy! I will continue to post outfits and reviews of current trends that i love (and hate), but I think that my  personal life is quite the read. Love Me?

Ohhh Valentines Day, the one day when every girl suddenly hides their baggy tshirts and decides to throw on some skanky lingerie and hot pink heels. In my opinion it is the most interesting “holiday” that we celebrate, probably because it puts pressure on men to buy flowers, candy, and other miscellaneous gifts…watching them squirm is worth the lingerie! This year I am celebrating Gal-Entines day with my leading ladies, this sounds great until you realize it is only because you aint got no man. I have decided that I will trade in the sadness and depression over my lack of lovin and slip into a party dress and love myself..and a cocktail or four.

My advice for dressing on Gal-Entines day is to just have fun and not take too much time trying to find the perfect outfit, I mean the only people who will see it are your Instagram followers. For me, I like to be over the top and take the Valentines day cliche wardrobe to an extreme…I will be covered in hearts and love if it kills me! The ASOS dresses above are wild and fun and I love them, especially with the Charlotte Olympia heart heels.

Whether you are spending the night with your significant other or your gal pals or your cat, try and enjoy the day of love and get a little wild.
